We at Pepeq would like to wish you not only a profitable and personally fulfilling close to the year 2011, but also, in anticipation of the very best for you and your loved ones in the coming year, we bid you a hearty ‘Happy New Year!’

In the spirit of reflection and introspection borne of the events, experiences and interactions over the course of the last year, we have taken a decision which we feel is in keeping with our new self-image and our drive to serve you, our esteemed customers at ever-higher standards.

As another year rolls by and we take stock of our company’s business activities, we also take the time to assess your perception of us. We are not only concerned with continuing to engage you and retain you as excellent and loyal customers and associates. We are very much aware of our responsibility to you in the upkeep of our image.

We have noted through the course of the last year that the name ‘Pepeq’ has presented some difficulties for some of you. It has come to our attention that its pronunciation is at best, subject to variability, thus leading to some memorable and sometimes amusing outcomes.

In all humility, we are also sensitive to the unfortunate alternative meaning of the word ‘Pepeq’ in the Malay language.

In our company, we appreciate the truism that ‘necessity is the mother of invention’.

Thus, in order to cater to the pressing need of avoiding any further unintended variations in the pronunciation of our company name and a rather serious cultural faux-pas to boot, we are re-inventing ourselves.

Allow us to re-introduce ourselves to you:

As of the start of the New Year, we at ‘Pepeq’ will be known as ‘Visual Artistics’.

We like our new name. It reflects our company in the light we want.

We hope YOU like our new name too.
